ABOUT THE BAND: HANNAH KAMINER & THE WISTFULS

Hannah & The Wistfuls is an Asheville-based indie Americana band featuring the songwriting, vocals, and acoustic guitar of Hannah Kaminer; the keys, bass and harmonies of Kevin Williams; drums and official band dad by Ross Montsinger; pedal steel, lap steel, dobro, and electric guitar by Jackson Dulaney, and frequent collaborations with Asheville musicians Melissa Hyman (cello, bass, harmony vocals) and Jackson Grimm (guitar, banjo, harmony vocals). 

Kaminer is an Asheville, NC-based artist known for her poignant songwriting, clear voice, and often comedic stage presence. As a full band, Hannah Kaminer & The Wistfuls swirls together sensibilities from Appalachian folk, 70s songwriters, rock, pop, and bluegrass into their arrangements. The band released the album Heavy on the Vine in January 2024. Since then, Heavy on the Vine has garnered play and a Studio B session at WNCW as well as reviews and mentions by the NYTimes, Rolling Stone, The Bluegrass Situation, and glowing reviews from Americana UK and Alt Country (NL). Hannah & The Wistfuls play throughout North Carolina and beyond, and have opened for acts such as The Steep Canyon Rangers, Scott McMicken & The Ever-Expanding, and Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters.
