The Honeycutters w/ Yellow Feather and Hannah Kaminer, July 20 at Salvage Station!

Y'all!

Get out the marker and circle "July 20" on your calendars, your iPhones, your fax machine, whatever you use to keep track of stuff. Haha! You know I use a sharpie to write things on my hand... Old habits die hard.

SO excited to be opening for Asheville's hometown heroes Amanda Anne Platt and the Honeycutters and Yellow Feather!! July 20th at the Salvage Station, 7 PM.

Doors open at 6:30 and you can get your tickets here. Aubrey Eisenman will be joining me on that delectable upright bass and sweet harmonies.

May & June Shows

Hey y'all!

A bunch of things are in the works (including two song commissions that I am really excited to be finishing!), but just wanted to write a quick note about four shows that are coming up quick!

GET YOUR WEEKEND ON

First, this Thursday 5/10 at One World Brewing – Hannah Kaminer Trio – Aubrey, Jackson and I will be serenading you at this unique (literally underground) brewery in downtown Asheville. This one is nice and late – 9 to 12. Come start your weekend early!

KNOXVILLE? SRSLY.

Next, if you're in Knoxville, I'll be at Crafty Bastard Brewing (solo show) on Friday night 5/18, from 8 to 10 PM. Come hang out!!

(Yes, I am in a quandary as to whether to sing "Knoxville". Feel free to offer your opinions on that one.)

SPECIAL ISIS SHOW (LIMITED TIX)

In June, I am so pleased to be returning to the Isis Restaurant & Music Hall in West Asheville on Sunday, June 3, from 5:30-7:30pm with Chasing Jonah. I've shared this stage with Ashley before, and you won't want to miss this composer-songwriter-vocalist (with a ridiculously beautiful voice)!

Only 50 tickets will be sold for that event, so make sure to get yours well ahead of time (last time we sold out this venue!). Love this listening room. The new song commissions may make an appearance!

XPAND FEST

And then on June 9, I will be part of Xpand Fest on Asheville's "South Slope" – a new music festival (I believe it's year #2) that promises to be a ton of fun. Girl power duo at ZaPow! Plus we are playing on the early side of the festival (it lasts from noon to 10pm), which means we can hang out!

Y'all are the best. That is all.

Acre by Acre Is Now on Spotify!

Hey friends!

We are getting excited: Album art is in the works and is looking awesome. And we are very close to pushing "start" with the album manufacturer. Soon these albums will be REAL.

If you are a Kickstarter supporter, expect to get a survey very soon, asking you for your most current mailing address. You will get Heavy Magnolias before anyone else!

In light of all that, a special announcement:

In anticipation of the upcoming release concert for Heavy Magnolias, we've decided to release Acre by Acre to Spotify!

You can start listening, add these songs to your favorite Americana playlists, and just generally knock yourself out streaming music here: Acre by Acre on Spotify.

Also, if you are a Pandora listener, you should see "Acre by Acre" posted there in the next few weeks!

Meanwhile, we are planning an awesome album release concert for March 18. It's a Sunday night at one of the most delicious venues in Asheville, the Grey Eagle. I suggest getting your tickets in advance! You can get your tickets here.

Keep on singing,

Hannah

Album Update + Special Show Dec. 27!

Hello listeners!

2 exciting updates for you:

1. As of this Thursday, the recording sessions for Heavy Magnolias are officially complete! The guitar, vocals, dobro (EEK), bass, percussion, organ (yes, ORGAN - WHOA), and steel have all been tracked.

To me, this new album sounds different, big, spacious. And the collaborations on this record have been enchanting – it is so exciting to work with musicians who are full of heart and talent, and my producer Julian who is full of patience and fresh ideas.

Thank you, listeners, for making this huge project possible!

2. SPEAKING OF THOSE NEW SONGS:

Tickets for the December 27 gig are selling fast! Half of them are already gone! Get them here.

The full band will be playing the upstairs stage at the Isis Restaurant & Music Hall in Asheville. Come out and get a glimpse of the songs on Heavy Magnolias – we will play just enough of these songs that you are hungry for more! This is a delightful listening room – it has great sound and of course lots of tasty treats and drinks.
