Dark Turn of Mind: An Americana Celebration

In celebration of the dark turn of the seasons and Halloween, Asheville-based bands The Moon & You and Hannah Kaminer, alongside drummer Ross Montsinger, have put together a special night of haunting, humorous, and ghostly songs. This show features covers and originals from the dark side of the musical 'spooktrum,' from folk to pop, and from country and traditional ballads.

We’ll play favorites by the Grateful Dead, Gillian Welch, Nina Simone, Bruce Springsteen, Dolly Parton, and more. We’ll also feature original songs by band members Melissa Hyman, Hannah Kaminer, and Ryan Furstenburg. Come ready to be haunted, to laugh and maybe even cry...but probably from laughing. Costumes and alter egos encouraged!
